Windows 8 Laptop
The design of Microsoft Windows 8 is nice. However, I do not like that the integrated mail program does not work with POP mail. The only solution is to download a different mail app. I like Windows Live Mail that is included in Windows Essentials 2012 found at Microsoft.com. After installing Windows Live Mail, my POP account was up and running again.

The Legend of Zelda Twilight Princess
This is my first Zelda game for the Nintendo Wii. I was pleasently surprised with the ease of control. The graphics are very good and gameplay is smooth. Some sceene changes take a while to get through and you can not just skip them. I will continue to play this game and post some updates here.

Xbox Kinect
I have been using the Xbox Kinect for a few months now. Overall I like it. It works in my small living room but I did purchase a zoom lens for it. With the zoom lens on, 2 people are able to play in the 5 - 6 foot area. Like any camera, the Kinect likes you to be well lighted from the front. The games are getting better and more accurate. I give the kinect a 4 star rating because of the room size needed with out the zoom lens. The 2nd generation Kinect should be much improved by the sounds of it. Happy gaming to you.

Acer Iconia A500
This 10.1 inch Android tablet is pretty great overall. After using this for a little over a week I have found that it is near replacing my laptop. It has built in GPS which I use when I travel. Yes, I use it in ND. The large screen is great for viewing maps and web pages. The USB port allows me to use my USB keyboard or I can plug in a USB flash drive for file transfers or additional storage. I think that the average computer user should consider using a tablet instead of a desktop or a laptop. Unless you have software that requires a desktop or laptop, your next up grade should be in the direction of a tablet. Check out the Acer Iconia and have a great day!

Nook review
I got my Nook a little over a month ago. I have read several books and a few newspapers with it. It works great. No problems. I like the color touch screen at the bottom of the Nook. It allows users to navigate their library or to other programs. Speaking of other programs I really like the web browser and the chess game that was added in the 1.3 update. I hope Barnes & Noble keeps up the good work. This is a buy!
